Earlier today we experienced that someone hacked into our webpages and caused the website to go “offline” for a couple of hours. Luckily, the problem was quickly resolved and the website should now be up and running like normal. Also winraceboats.no is back in business. Have a great week everyone!

Three times world-champion, Bob Wartinger, stopped by our shop earlier today. Bob has won 24 (!!!!!) US National Championships and over the last 40 years he has pulled 124 (!!!!!!) national and international speed records. It´s been an honor, Bob – you´re welcome back any time!

Sjøen For Alle (Oslo Boat Show) is over, and we are already back home after a great week in the capitol. Just wanted to thank everyone who took their time to stop by our booth this past week. We´ll see you all next year – same time, same place.

This boat hasn´t been out on the water since 1982, and has been stored for 30 years. The setup of the boat is like it used to be back then, but here it was tested with a newer engine, a Tohatsu 25hp to see how it acted. This test will be used as a foundation for the new catamaran we are going to develop for 30hp engines. This boat still has the world record in class SB, 30 years after the record try. This was the first Norwegian built boat in wood that won an international championship.
